from Maryam:
Azizam! I tried to post my comment but it did not go through. This poem is outstanding. The language is simple from the tongue of a third-grader. There is a comparison between craftsmanship of art of writing with human love. It is full of images and emotions without any sentimentalism. Congratulations!
from Karol Edwards:
Lovely poem, Majid!
I was a teacher for twenty-one years, and loved my work with students, parents and other teachers. We all deserve much more support than we get. I am retired, with a fixed pension of $25K for the rest of my life. No social security benefits, which increase annually to account for inflation, for myself and none as a dependent of my husband. If I had stayed at home instead of teaching, or had a different career, I would have received a portion of my husbands social security benefits. Teachers are penalized for choosing to teach.

Very touching! I like all poems that revere teachers and yours is touching in its spare exquisiteness and emotion.
from Maz Jobrani:
Merci Majid Joon. This poem and picture are a great tribute to our teachers.
Hope you’re well!
