These women didn't realize that all their freedom came from Pahlavi Dynasty. They were enjoying women's liberation and at the same time they were opposed with Shah. What a bunch of idiots. 

Did you listen to the full episode? I think you should... I wouldn’t call my fellow-citizens idiots, but desperate... the Shah had long passed the no-turn point...his filthy family, and corrupt circle left no room or even mere hope for a reform... Oh well, forty years has passed, monarchy has been uprooted forever, and we have learned some good lessons... one of which goes like this: If the revolution was a mistake, a grave collective mistake, then the conventional wisdom dictates we should avoid repeating it...

btw, Siavash... only if I may.. how come you never write in our mother tongue, Farsi?

idiots are idiots regardless of religion, skin color, race or national origin. We have idiots in anywhere. We have idiot in White House such as Obama and we have idiot in Iran such a  women who were enjoying freedom during shah days and they were forced to wear heaa scarf and look like a house keeper after revolution. They were propagating against Monarchy, but they were enjoying all those previleges Monarchy was offering them. If we discriminate between idiots based on their race or national origin, as you did in above comment, we would have engaged in RACISM and we don't want that happened. 

     My older sister was subscribed to a magazine by the name of Zan E Rooz. This magazine printed a picture of an upscale, good looking and modern women who coverd herself with black outfit, black gloves on the cover magazine.  That was during revolution. She was raising her fists against shah. They were hundreds. They were marching on street of Taj in Tehran. This street changed the name to Satar Khan after revolution. Most of these women ran away from Iran afer revolution. They all settled in western world. None of them went to Eastern Block despite their Marxist Leninist ideologies. Hypocracy hurts our nation more than anything else. Hypocracry means to say something and do something else. We have it on this site. just take a look at the blog where the bloger deleted my comment. Each Iranian have small dictator within themselves. They don't have problem with dictatorship as long as it is on their way or they're agree with it. It is not okay if they are disagree with the idea. From one hand they speak of "freedom of Speech" and at the same time they delete my comments.  They talk about democracy but they block me from the blog... What a bunch of hypocrates. Democarcy, Freedom of speech.. alll are deceptive notion that has no place in Iranian minds.  Iran wouldn't be democrate for another 200 years. That is my observation. 

BTW,. I write in English because this site is in English. If it was in Farsi, I would have written in Farsi. 

This is my very main problem with your view: you look down upon “housekeepers”... that mentality caused the whole thing, which is now called our anti-dictatorship and national revolution... that’s why I can not and I will not trust what you suggest as the ideal alternative to mullahcracy...

I hate to be insensative to Antsy, but bottom line is  if you (I don't mean you personally!) follow a jack ass blindly and  he push you off the cliff, whose fault is that really?
