The man who abandoned Syrian Children to their sorry fate in order to cut a deal with Iran's backward regime.

Dear Dariush,
Thanks for commenting. I appreciate that contrary to many other writers on Iroon.com you use your real name and take responsibility for your views and actions. Besides, most of your posts are informative and interesting. I only wish that you had not use insults against John Kerry.I have respect for Kerry primarily for his role in anti-Vietnam-war movement. In his interview with Fresh Air NPR he has talked about Syria and I posted it before:
Dear Majid
I appreciate our civil discourse.
As to your point regarding John Kerry's role in Vietnam it is itself a subject of controversy given that he was rallying along Jane Fonda ( at the time known as Hanoi Jane for demonstrating in a Vietnamese Camp while US forces were fighting the Vietkong.)
Something that enrages veterans to this day

John Kerry very much like John McCain ( 'Bomb, Bomb Iran') war credentials should be scrutinized more accurately by journalists before dubbing them as "heros".
It is not the first time personalities hungry to launch their political ambitions have used their "war credentials" as an excuse to gain some form of legitimacy and moral highground in the political field.
It all has to do with PR.
Real heros and there were many in Vietnam were and remain for the most modest and silent or otherwise are dead.
Additionally if Kerry was a "hero" then his comments whitewashing his administration's clumsy response to the Syrian Crisis where he claims to have "saved" many lives just shows that he is a Politician before being a "Hero".

This just proves that Bill Maher's "entertainment" shows are no better than those of Jon Stewart and co claim that humor and parody are the best way to develope critical thinking.
Such shows have in the past two decades done more damage to the credibility of journalism than anything else and are as much a source of the current "Populist" highjacking of the "Truth" which Kerry and his likeminds disingenuously claim to denounce when in fact they contribute to it widely and as disingenuously as their arch villain "Trump" does when he accuses mainstream media of creating "Fake News".
Such shows like Mahers are propaganda tools to relaunch the careers of obsolete politicians whose record is no cleaner than those they choose to fight in the political arena.
It's time journalists stop rubbing shoulders with politicians they "like" and challenge them instead of showering them with compliments.
Only then can the TRUTH as they claim emerge from the mayhem of political discourse and over information that is burying factual and verified information.
Thanks. Why do you associate Kerry with Fonda and Mccain regarding their positions in Vietnam war? Every one of them had a different position regarding Vietnam war and should not be mixed together just because Kerry has a photo with Fonda or years later Kerry had some collaboration in Senate. As regards to other issues that you have raised I would rather not get involved. Otherwise we have to spend the rest of our day online and do not do anything else.
The Fonda link is clear ... he supported her stance by demontrating with her at the time of the controversy. The link I provided shows it. So that in itself sheds some doubt on his own "heroism".
As for McCain because Kerry makes that association in the interview you provided by hypocrtically praising him. An Irony given how much West residing IRI apologists blasted McCain for his hawkish stance over Iran's nuclear deal.
Kerry's interview simply demonstrates how he like any other politician cherry picks his arguments to a crowd pleasing audience.
