I think part of the appeal is his stance against muslims too. 

(Some) Iranians often think of themselves as the "alternate" muslims....with little regards to the fact that to the West, they are seen by the West the same as turban-wearing pricks they see on TV and news bad mouhting them.

Wait! Trump has Iranian supporters? Who is she?

Trump’s Iranian supporters have been positioning themselves as the “alternative/peaceful” Iranians, the same way Khatami/Mousavi/Karroubi supporters have been positioning themselves as the “alternative/suit and tie” Muslim Iranians. And you know how far they have got with that proposition.

The fact that there were no NoRooz greetings out of the White House or Israel this year shows that the US train has left the station with the Iranian Trump supporters still standing on the platform with their suitcase and tickets in hands!

Ok, hold on. The next train is coming in 4 years!

You know, Even thoug I am a HUGE supporter of Donald J. Trump , Recently confessed...I hope 3 years from today these boys can get a fine, young stallion like Barackster into the office. Really. I get down on my knees and pray for that. Our nation needs variety.

I have chosen to live in the States, which means that personally i have put behind me all the BS about being Iranian or a muslimm for that matter. I swear by american values and pledged to protect this country, Just as they have. So,  Why the hell would i care who looks at me as if i am a New muslim or the old verison of a muslim????!!!! alternative or not!!!

Dear Bruce - Farceynation - dude, we know a couple of them IRL. We were at an Iranian dinner party with my cousin and his family, and this Iranian woman was tearing herself up for Trump, and a bunch of other Iranians were cheering her on, predicting how Trump will end the Islamic Republic (through military action - "dahane akhood-ha ro service mikoneh"), and how Reza Pahlavi would be the most likely candidate to take over after that event. That's what precipitated the comment by my cousin. It was kind of funny --actually more sad than funny--to watch these characters, not because I don't want to see the IR gone, but because of their reckless attitude toward thier homeland and their fellow Iranians inside of Iran. As if they haven't witnessed what has taken place in Iraq, Syria, and Libya.
