I would let her enter anywhere !!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
Move with times Ansty.
A museum is the wrong place for moving with times... Isn't it?
NO
Some museums have futuristic displays too.
I wellcome her any time! what happend to the French I thought they would dig this sort of stuff. May be French islamic republic is in the horizon!
That is a misplaced illusion, MRX.
The French and the rest of Europe, for that matter, are culturally way behind the US, in general, or even the irreligious and affluent inhabitants of northern Tehran.
Sure... Uptown tehroon is saturated with residents who can beat Locke, Hume, Sartre, Nietzsche, Hegel, Kierkegaard, etc on every philosophical corner... Sure...
I wait until philosophers become “kings” and then respond to the first part of your comment. But, for now, I tell you this about philosophy: Talk is cheap.
And as for the second part of your comment, do you mean the Yankees who have created the strongest superpower in the world and generated the greatest wealth in the history of mankind? Can that superpower do better and more? I believe so. And I’m hoping that some day it will.
Once on our way to visit the Tower of Pisa, a Japanese lady with her daughter came and sat right in front of us, on the train. In the course of our conversation she mentioned she was writing for a Japanese vernacular about museums in Europe. And then she asked me how many museums I had seen in Itay. I pulled out a bunch of business cards and brochures from my bag and started giving her the names of the restaurants and cafes we had visited. She politely said, she was not familiar with those places. And I politely responded, they were not museums, but restaurants and cafes that I call my “museums.” And continued, I liked enjoying the present times because the past did not fascinate me as much as the present.
I also wonder how a Yankee would have reacted to a falling apple.
Well Ansty a Yankee would have shot the apple.
