For Morsadegh, there is no doubt that the sanctions imposed by US President Donald Trump, a property tycoon and former reality TV star, are meant to punish ordinary Iranians.

As we are wasting our precious time on the subject of the sufferings of Iranians under sanctions, the ruling Iranians are enriching themselves by importing cheap medications and medical equipments and selling them at any price they like. There are no sanctions on medications and medical equipments. Even Israel is not denying Iran its medical equipments that are sold in Japan as well. So, it is not DJ Trump who is hurting Iranians, but as the protesting Iranians are saying, it’s the enemy within that is destroying the country.
