Thanks for the poem, AO jaan! Very nice! Nice rose too! I love roses and plant them all over my yard!
What's the deal with blocking people?
I have been blocked by almost everyone!
I hope I haven't offended anyone!
What's cooking in the iroon.com kitchen?
I, hereby, the ex-toudehi, am very honored having encouraged you to post your great poems. That was indeed a very ancient nursery rhyme that every body knows and likes.
Something that I don't understand, though: those spelling and grammar mistakes, were there slipped purposely, too?
I'm glad having been your mentor in poetry but you don't need to loose your perfect English to follow me as a role model!
I'm sure you have a great talent and if you try hard, you can write good poems very soon. no need to imitate me at that point!
I know how much you want to be like me, as I inspire you greatly, but it is not something that everybody can learn easily like this. Not someone like you, anyway.
Try to be yourself.
You will succeed much better.
Good!
I saw that you have corrected the mistakes.
Wise decision :)
AO jon, thanks for sharing.
Now it is a pleasent change to see a real "sher" on this site instread of the usual "k*s sher"!
Keep it up my friend.
ICW jan, I also have been blocked by quite a few accounts on this site. The good news is that I know at least 5 of these accounts belong to one person only! You know who!! This person is clearly afraid of hearing the truth and common sense!
:)))
Loved reading it, It so reminded me of my old days and the time when i wanted to just pick up that cluster bomb and go right at it, but something stopped me. was it a miracle? was it a call from heavens?
very refreshing piece for a sunday morning . great job pal >
Dear Hamal Jaan, We shall continue hammering the loud and clear message...into the ears of the gang....!
Some men climb a mountain,
Some men swim the sea,
Some men fly above the sky:
They are what they must be.
But, baby the rain must fall,
Baby, the wind must blow,
Wherever my heart leads me
Baby, IRI must go, baby IRI must go.

ICW jan, thanks for another fantastic few lines of poetry. Kind of abstarct for those we need to educate here though! That is why when I speak to NIACi-ommati-chapool friends here, I bring myself way down to their level in my writing. The things we have to do as educators..
Thank you all for your comments.
Dear Inspector: you're welcome. I'm glad this put a smile on your face. I wanted to show the world my irfani side by posting the photo of the rose. :-) On a more srrious note, I tried to have a rose garden in my yard too, but it not last long. I grow a lot of vegatables in the summer, and I have some decent flowers, daisies, hyacinths, iris, etc., but roses just didn't agree with me. They all died. Growing roses is an art, and I fortunately did not have it.
On the blocking issue, I really don't know. I think something is wrong with the site. It blocks a whole bunch of people when you try to block someone. I only have one person on my block list, and that's Comrade Minimalist. But it took me a while to block him, because everytime I tried to do it, it blocked a whole bunch of other people.
Dear Souri - Thank you for ponting out the issues with the blog. I did go back and correct them. I wrote this thing in a rush and didn't proof read it, and with the spellchecker, and auto-correct, this is what you get.
I'm sorry though. I don't want to be like you. You have a lot of hate, suspicion, and prejudices toward whole groups of people. You are also very conspiracy minded. I can't live like that. It's bad vibes, bad karma, and unhealthy. It makes me physically sick to be that way. But if I were to guess, I woud say that it's probably nothing that you're doing intentionally. I think it's probably the culture (both macro and micro) that you grew up in--coupled with the failure of an ideology that you so sincerely believed in. It has made an angry, hateful and suspicious person out of you--which is unhealthy at this stage of your life. I do have to give you credit though for posting a photo of yourself as your avatar in the old site. That takes courage.
PS - I will hire you to be the editor of my upcoming Divan.
Dear Hamal - Thanks for the comment my friend. I do try to lighten up the mood here one a while.
Dear Doctor - I think it was my poetry that stopped you from throwing the cluster bomb. Hey, it works for me all the time.
Samsam Bro- Thanks brother. I love your anti-Ommatti poetry.
Another one of my poems - previously posted on iranian.com:
I have a ball that is round and round…
It’s red, white and blue…
When I bounce it, it goes high up in the sky…
You can’t imagine how high it goes…
I didn’t have this ball…
But I did really well on my homework…
My mommy loved me very much…
And she rewarded me with this ball…

Dear Souri - You do realize that I worte this as a joke, right? :-) Obviously, Attal Mattal Tootooleh was not invented by me.
Second, in terms of the spelling mistakes, I really don't know what you want me to say. You pointed them out. I corrected thm and thanked you for it. I think there were two errors. One was te word "myself," that I had written as "my self," which I think I think should be pretty obvious was an error. I think I know the difference between the two words. The other one was I said Iranian people are poems instead of poets. I corrected that one too. So, I think I know the difference between those two also. I'm not sure what you're trying to prove here. That your command of the English language is better than mine because of those two errors? OK. Fine. You're better. Is that good? Or are you implying that there's some sort of conspiracy about the whole thing?
As I have said before, I had some Farsi education before we left Iran, and then I practiced on my own afterwards. So, I can read Farsi, and I can even write some, but not as good as you, or someone else who has had a full Farrsi education. The rest of my education has been in English. But you got me. You're just better in both languages. And if you want to satisfy your sense of conspiracy and lack of trust in people, then fine, I'll say it wasn't an error. I just can't speak English. Is that good?
Thank you for being a fan of my blogs. I enjoy reading some of your poems too. Seriously, I do.
PS- I was in a rush to go out and catch a movie when I posted the blog. It was Batman vs. Superman. I'm not a big fan of comic inspired movies, but I kind of liked this one. That was the rush if you really want to know.
Okay, let me explain it
I think you didn't get my point about the English errors!
First, you had many mistakes slipped there, not only two!
like "what not me" instead of "why not me" ....and some others
Everybody knows that your English is perfect!
And everybody knows that my english sucks!! Even though I really try my best, God knows :)
Becasue your blog meant to ridicule me, i first thought that your mistakes were done purposly to put me down more!..... Conspiracy again :)
Then you said that you were in a rush to post it! I beleived you.
and asked "what was the rush" ?
All this, is nothing you should worry about.
Instead, better to focus on the rest of my comment.
Have a good Sunday night.
No more dialog please.
PS- I didn't spell check this comment. So sorry for the mistakes.
Souri and AO:
It is good to see you both here. I like you both. I have had exchanges with both of you at the old site. You are very different individuals. And I am very different from both of you . But we are all grown ups and we should be able to get along and agree to disagree where there is a disagreement.
P.S. I used to come here at the weekend to read the comments and say or post something. but I have found it tense for no reason... just cant be bothered anymore..... Then there is my old stalker from iranian dot com.... the rabid pro monarchist/ anti-socialist pretending to be a Tudeh party supporter (I guess hoping to give socialists a bad name??....) accusing anyone he does not like to be me. All because a number of years ago I called him out on the old site for being a fake socialist. Now that is burning hatred for you......
My two cents.......
Hi Roozbeh
How are you doing? Nice to see you back and talkig to me.
I hope to see more of your contribution here.
About Minimalist ( I think he is the one you are talking about) I don't know who he is, or what is his real motivation, for that matters.
Just I agree with some of his comments. I have to admit it.
As I always said, I don't care who is who. I don't look at the person behind the comments, but just give my opinion on what has been said!
You know me well. I had many argues with even yourself, JJ, even Samsam who was my friend..... and of course some of the bloggers who were not my friends, either.
You are right. The general climate is very hostile and hateful! What a pity.
The worst thing is this stalking stuff, that many bloggers and comentators do!
Wish you a very good week ahead
Thanks Roozbeh, and thanks Souri for the follow up. Souri- this blog was not meant to belittle you. You were taking jabs at me on the other Persian part of the site, and I figured I have a little fun with you. That's all. And when it comes to English, it's a second language for all of us, and we're all at about the same level. So, I never pick on anyone's spelling or grammar--mainly because my own skills in those areas are awful.
But all of that stuff aside, I think Souri raises a very interesting question. She says that all ideologies in Iran have lost. That's a great subject for a debate. Have they? I think the Islamist ideology has done extremely well for the past half century in Iran. Sure, a great chunk of the population (not all) see it as a failure, but it has achieved its goal and then some. I would call it a success. I wonder how everyone feels about that.
You mixed it up again, AO.
I think this is because I wrote it in Persian and you said your Persian is not so good.
I said "All political parties and organization in Iran" have failed. Not the ideologies.
As I have mentioned, an ideology cannot "fail" by itself.
A political party/organization or else, is created usually based on an ideology as a directive. Sometimes they succeed, sometimes they fail.
The Tudeh party of Iran, for example, was created based on the ideology of Marxism-Leninism. But they have failed. Not because of their ideology, but because of other reason. Here, we can't say that Marxism has failed, because the party Toudeh has failed.....etc.
Now, you are talking about the Islamic ideology. I don't agree (and never accepted) that Islam is an ideology, no matter how much the IRI politicians try to make us believe this.
Islam is a religion, not an ideology. At least this is how I look at it.
If they want to make it politic and make an ideology out of it, then good for them!
Now, I would rather you open a new blog on this subject, because it is not appropriate to change the subject of a blog, this radically.
Dear AO, It is so sad that some people like Soosan khanoom here are so full of hate and oghdeh that they can not stomach a beautiful blog about poetry! That they come and attack you for simply writing a poem!
This is precisely why people like myself and my dear friend ICW are needed here to help and educate this hate filled oghdehi souls before their imminent death of old age.
Is Soosan Khanoom here ?
"Is Soosan Khanoom here ?"
yes, "she" is here as "souri"!
and that is fine with everyone so long as "she" behaves herself and leave all that oghdeh and hate behind with Haj said amin !!!
Dear Siavash
You seem to be an old Iranian.comer
I am Souri, the old Souri
I have never had any other username
Just for your own records
Respect
Thanks for clarification.
As far as I remember Souri was living in Washington D.C area, where she ran into our dear shahzadeh Reza Pahlavi a couple of times in the grocery store nearby his house. She described our dear Shahzadeh Reza Pahlavi as a "humble" and "down to the earth" person. Souri khanoom was NOT living in France with French husband. She was living in America in the East Coast. She was also a friend of our dear friend user I.D "Anglophile". Apparently they met up in a Iranian party a while back. I remember Souri khanoom was reading my comments very carefully because she used to ask me to write more and more comments or blogs.
On the other hand, Soosan Khanoom was an upnoxius woman who was raised in a wealthy family and enjoyed all the benefits that Monarchy system offered her and her family such as living in north of Tehran (Mohseni square) where the family had a mansion style house with a big swimming pool in the backyard. They also had vacation home by Caspian Sea where she and her family used to stay every summer. She were going to French high school (St. Mary) , but she pick English language, NOT French, so she didn't understand French language. In the meantime, the family was against shah and Monarchy ..... I have never seen such a sick minded people in my whole life. They were enjoying the benefits and luxury life style during shah days, but they were against shah.ha... ha.. ha.. Damn on those people. Iranians are paying high price for having such stupid people like Soosan Khanoom family in Iran.
Soosan khanoom was a scientist as she was claiming. She was also member of NIAC. She used an avatar of love and peace, but she wanted criminal mullahs to have atomic bomb to wipe out Israel from the map.!!! what a peaceful person... !!!. She was also admirer of Arab Man/woman who used the user I.D Nilofar Parsi. Stupid woman didn't even realized that person was Arab, NOT Iranian.
Soosan khanoom was in her fifties and had a daughter who was in her twenties. Single mother who was confused and didn't know what she wanted from life. She was also overweight, so she was trying to lose weight to become desirable. She was originally from Rasht whose appearance was not desirable. She was trying very hard to meet a guy by haning out in the bars, but she was not successful due to her overweight appearance. She was saying that she is avoiding sweet stuff so to bring down her weight. She considered Nowruz as a bad month because she was eating so much pastries and gaining more weight. She used to use 'bar terminalogy" on old I. C such as "Negative vibs" or "positive vibes" ....ect. Women usually use those kind of terminology when they want to pick the guys in the bar.
Thanks dear Siavash.
I have to congrats you for your excellent memory! Wow!!
You remember the details that I had forgotten about myself :)
So you know definitively that I am not Soosan khanoom (unless someone jumps here right now to say that you too, are one of us, the pro-IRI gang :) )
I have to correct two details about your memory though:
1) I live in Canada (not France, nor Washington) but yes, I was living in France long time ago and my husband is French. Actually I travel a lot and go to Maryland a few times a year. My cousin live there in Potomac, right beside were Reza Pahlavi lives in Rock Ville
That's how I met him twice in the grocery "The Giant"......I found him very nice, indeed. Also, in 2003 we met him once in Florida, Disney land, with his two daughters. We stayed about half an hour, discussing and taking pictures.
2) I don't know the username "Anglophile" in person. I don't know who he/she is really. So, I don't know if we are friends in real life :)
Yes, I have been in CA a few times, where I have met some of the IC members in the parties and the concerts. But honestly, I don't know "Anglophile". I'm glad she/he is a friend.
Thanks for your integrity and nice comment.
PS-As you might know well, I am not a pro-Pahlavi and am against the Monarchism, too. But it doesn't mean that I hate anybody :)
Dear Souri Khanoom,
I have a "photographic memory".
When people talk, I listen. Their ideas registar in my mind for number of years. That has been my habit since childhood. I do also remember the dates very well, but I am not good in "Facial memory". Poor facial memory. I don't remember the people's faces after a while.
Anyway, in one occasion, our dear friend "Anglophile" was saying where she lives (which was not accurate. She was giving wrong information about her personal life) and you caught her in disguise. You identified her from a party or some kind of social gathering. You told her that you know who she is and where she is living. You advised her to continue to write books and "novels for the children" as she was doing. She greeted you back and asked you to protect her identity because she didn't want to be identified online.
In old I..C, we had an option to delet the comment, so after "Angelophile"'s request, you deleted the comment in order to protect her identity. It didn't take that much time you deleted the comment. It was just few minutes exposure. This is exactly what happened.
Sincerely,
Siavash
Wow! Wow! Wow!!!
You are realy great! I can recall something like that, but obviously not as clear as you recall in all details!
I believe that I had an idea of who she was, because she was writing also in the site, with another username. She was a very great novlist. We became friends online (only by chat in the site) and some emails..... etc. If my guess about her identity was correct (and it seems that it was ) I have never met her in person. But knew her very well through different converstion we had together. I know her face through the pictures I'd seen of her and also knew where she was living and her living condition. Like a real virtual friend :)
Is she still around?
And one more question, dear Siavash:
Have you been among my facebook friends for a short time, a long time ago?
I say this because of your avatar. The lion.
Have a wonderful day.
Anglophile was not only smart, she had a great sense of humor. I missed her. She was my favor person on Iranian site. She is around and probably she doesn't want to be identified, so she decided not to write any more comment. You also identified her NOT only as "novelist", but as a person who writes "novels for children". That was very specific information.
Anyway, In 2011, I wrote a comment about Germany (DDR) secret police STASI and it's covert operation in Syria which attracted you very much.
Over the years, I had been thinking what aspect of that comment attracted you that much. That question had been in my mind for number of years. Finally, I am getting my answer by reading comments on the above.
In my comment, I was addressing the Stasi operation in general and it's covert operationi in Syria in specific during cold war.
No, my facebook account shows my picture with suit and tie. My European girl friend is standing beside me in the picture, so her blond hair is a little visible as well. Not lion. I choose this avatar because it implies powerful Persian Monarchy and our great history which is comingled with history of Monarchy.
Thanks,
Wish you a great day as well.
Dear Siavash
I don't remember that comment that you are talking about, but if you say that you got your answer now, I hope it had worth the wait :)
And before AO kick us out of his blog, I want to encourage you to write blogs and more comments. You seem so much articulated and integrated. It's always a pleasure to talk to the civilized people like you.
Hope you will participate more in this site and we will have more opportunity to talk again.
Thanks,
That was so sweet. I try to be objective and impartial as much as possible.
A.O is also very intelligent and smart person. She is one of those people that I always read her blogs and comments. As you said of being articulate, I think A.O is very articulate.
I remember she wrote a blog about Franz Kafka. Kafka has been my favor novelist since my childhood.
I really enjoyed reading many of A.O's blogs.
Another blog that I like from her was the conflict between Muslims and central governent of China. Hope you have access to those blogs. Then you will see what I mean. I always quate her in my comments as far as conflict in M.E is concerned.
I don't know what was the reason for raising cane at each other in here, but hopefully it will be resolved soon in a friendly manner. We have to remember A.O is in her 30's and I am in my 50's. Generation gap is also important factor in relating to other people.
LOL, dear Siavash...
Are you sure that AO is a woman? I didn't know that!
Very surprised!
The reason for raising cane is very obvious: He/she is a pro-zionist and I am against it. But before all this happen couple of years ago, I liked his blogs too. Yes, I agree he/she is intelligent.
And yes again, you are very impartial. I wish we had more of the people like you in this site!
Thanks,
I had late entry about generation gap. Please remember A.O is in her 30's and age play important role as far as understanding one another.
What you're saying about Zionist is only B.S made by criminal mullahs to justifies their hate from Jews. I don't know A.O's relgion, but I think she belogns to Judism religion which is respectable as other religions. I remember once she went to university liberary and met a liberarian who appeared to her as a Jewish lady. That was long time ago. The incident struck me as if A.O came from family with a Jewish background.
I was born and rasied in religous Shia family, but I never hated other people because of their religion affilation. Let's make this one clear in here.
Ruling criminal mullahs hate jews. That goes back to history. Palestine is a "Pretexrt" and "outlet" for that historical hate. That's why Mullahs have to go back to Mosques. They don't belong to politic. To hate Jews is only in the circle of Mullahs, NOT among Iranians as a nation. Like I said before, Mullahs' hate from Jews has nothing to do with Palestine or Palestinians. Palestinians are Sunni and criminal mullahs don't give a hood about Sunnis. For example, Over 1 million Sunni lives in Tehran, but they don't have even one Mosque. if Sunni wants to pray, where should they go ? They have to pray behind Shia leader Imam or Ayatollah which is NOT acceptable. So where is that crocodile tear for Palestinians.? They're NOT even allowed to have one mosque in Tehran.
Now, let's look at what criminal mullahs are claiming.
First they claim they don't hate Jews, they hate Zionist. Then they say that they want to wipe out Israel from the map. Are they going to separate Zionists from Jews first, then they only wipe out the part that belongs to Zionist from the map.? They do NOT want to wipe out the Jewish part.... ha... ha.. ha..
Do you see how rediculous it sounds.?
Do you see what they're saying.? They council their hate from Jews under the name of Zionist...etc. Just take a look at whom they invited to Tehran for their anti jews conference? I don't know how much you know about American history, but David Duke is one of the most famous KKK members who hates blacks and Jews. They invited that monster to Tehran. Why? Because criminal mullahs want to have another holocaust under the name of religion. Hitler did it under the "Race" but criminal mullahs wanted to do it under "reliigion". Is David Duke Muslim ? Of couse NOT. So why was he in Tehran ? Do they know what kind of people are David Duke ?
These are the same people who put innocent people in the gas chamber.
Do you want to feel those families' pain who lost their loved ones in gas chamber ? just close your eyes and feel they were your family, cousins...sister.. brother... mother... who burned in gas chamber... . Then open your eyes. What do you feel then ?
Please remember in the history of the world, 2 groups of people have always been oppressed, discriminated and victimized. Blacks and Jews.
I doubt AO is a woman, not that it matters.
Well, dear Siavash Thanks for the reply. First I must say that I'm really not comfortable to continue this debate in this blog. Not only out of respect for AO, but also that the subject is very interesting and has nothing to do with the atal matal totooleh...... In short, I agree with all you said, but have more to add.
1) What the Mullahs say, does in no way influence my thinking about that matter. The fact that they too say the same thing, or almost the same, doesn't neither bother me nor encourage me. I just don't care about what they say.
2) The stupid who said that he wants to wipe out Israel from the map, said also that the holocaust never happened. No comment!
3) I belieive that there is Zionism and there are Jewish people. Exactly like there is IRI and there are Muslims. Some Muslims are %100 with the IRI, some are %80, others agree for %50? and there are also some Muslims who are against the IRI politics. Same goes exactly for the Jews.... So let not mix and mach the Zionist in power with the average Jewish people who love their religion but don't want to kill anybody for that! Yes, we can and we have to seperate their accounts. Really we should!
4) All you said about the Holocoast and the gas chamber and all the tortures going on the Jews, were sadly a dark point of the history, we all agree. We all condamn it, blame it and deplore it.
That's why we now have the "Human Rights" .
But now that it's so easy to remember what happened 75 years ago, every day, why we should deliberately forget about what is happening every year in Palestine?
People of Palestine are poor and defenseless. They are attacked everyday. Children are killed every day......I know, you will say that the Palestinians do put bombs, they are the ones who start first.....etc. But, see I am not convinced yet. And this is not a matter that you and me can conclude and come to an agreement, here, today, just in one blog. Let agree to disagree. Cordially;
Dear Ex-Cop
I too, have trouble to imagine that AO is a woman. AO style of writing is very masculine. My apologies if it's a woman anyway :)
Also, she/he is not in her/his 30's in my opinion. It's more that 10 years I read her/his stuff here..... and they didn't look to be from a young 20's at that time.....
You guys are reading too much into this "gender" thing. Nowadays, "gender" is no longer a binary thing like "either a man or a woman", but rather a spectrum. One can be anything from a "manly man" all the way to a "womanly woman" with all the colors in between!
ey baba Faramarz jan, don't say you are a woman too!
You made me worried, dear.
If you want to get out of the closet, it's time now!
Now or never :)
Don't panic Souri Jaan. I am speaking to the larger issue of trans-gender people and their rights.
Equality for people of different persuasions is a passion of mine!
Souri Khanoom,
Please, before we end our discussion, allow me to point out some important factors.
I understand your concern, but the event in the region is NOT as bad as you're imagining. It is okay situation. Even in the worst scenario, the Palestinains could immigrate to other Arab countries such as Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi....etc. I came across Palestinians who lives in Kuwait. I don't know if you knew 70% of Jordanians are originally Palestinians.
There are 27 Arab nations around the world. Palestinians can go there for living. Even during shah days, many Iranians immigrated to Kuwait for the better life. All 27 Arab nations speak the same language and they share the same religion (Sunni) and the same food. They're Arab brothers and sisters. For that reason, they are not "foreign entity". I am sure, they feel comfortable to live any place in Arab coutries.
On the other hand, There is NO place for Jewish people to immigrate, except to be pushed to Mediterrian sea. That is what Arabs wants. I don't know if you knew that Arabs voted against U.N agreement about Jewish settlement in the region back in 1948. If you don't know it, please let me know so I send you some literatures in that regard. Arabs were fighting with new comers to the land from day one. New comers were holocaust survivals. Arabs didn't want them there. Beside, that land didn't belong to Palestinians at first place. British decided to settle holocaust survivals in there. Jewish didn't want it, British wanted. Some of the Jews wanted to go back to their own country after WWII ended, but 47 of they were killed upon their return. This is what I am saying about "Humanity". If I was Arab, I would have welcomed the new comers who survived gas chamber. I would have shared my food, my house with them, but Arabs didn't do it. We are NOT talking about handful Palestinians who were killed by Israeli soldiers, we are talking about million million innocent people who were burned in gas chamber. Let's face the reality. You probably don't want to admit that you have been brainwashed by Mullahs propagandas. Criminal mullahs propagandas works 24/7 to braiwash people against state of Israel.
I agree with you about some good people and some bad people in any country, but that is beside the point.
Siavash jan
I left Iran in 1979 and never went back to live there (but only one year)
So, no dear. I am not brainwashed by the Mullah, you can be sure.
That land belongs to the Palestinians, now they are deprived of all their rights!
I know many Palestinians who have lived in Jordany or Kuwait.... they are living in Canada and work as doctors and pharmacists..... etc
Let the conversation ends here, please.
We can take it back in another place and a better time.
Have a wonderful week end.
Thanks for your civil discussion and sorry for the mistakes I did in English, I did't check them.
Cordially;
You're doing good in English Souri Khanoom. No worry.
To be influence by Mullahs' propaganda machine does NOT necessary means to live inside Iran. It could be through satelite, radio....papers..... etc. What I meant from brainwash relates to the Mood of the nation. Mullahs were able to create a "MOOD" of anti Judaism in Iran and put the nation in the "Frenzy state" during last 37 years.
"Mood of the nation" is important. For example, Mullahs were able to create "Mood of anti communism" at the begining of revolution. Their position against revolutionay Afghanistan and President Tarekey's administration in 1979 is an example . No one in Iran could defend the new establishment of Afghanistan even though it came to power as a result of people's wishes.
If you see the friday pray via satelite, you will see the frenzy crowd who chants loudly "Death to Isarel" with the ultimate hate. That is "Frenzy State". In that point, they can commit the most horoble crime without any guilty feeling.
Hitler did the same thing. He was able to put the nation in the "Frenzy state" of Anti Judaism. He was able to pursue the nation to look at Jews the same way he was looking them. Once he accomplished that task, he committed the most devilish crimes in the huamn history.
Thanks for being patient with me. I respect your wish of ending conversation.
Regards,
Siavash
Hi again Siavash jan
Sorry but when you say that I am brainwashed by the Mullah's ideology, it is an insult to my intelligence. I know you don't mean it, but really it could be perceived in that way.
It means that for 37 years that I'm abroad, I never read the Western newspapers, don't read the news, don't watch the TV and don't follow the news online!
No, it's not true, my friend.
How many movies have you seen about the real life of the Palestinians over there, so far? I'm not talking about the documentaries, but real movies.
In US, you don't have that chance to watch those kind of movies, I believe.
While in Canada and France, because of the density of the Arab population, we watch full of them.
What you see (or want to see) in the news, is not the true reflection of the real life in there.
The Israeli atrocities are the same as Hitler toward the Jews at that time. The Palestinians are not free in their own land. They don't have the basic rights of a normal human being.
And you suggest they move to other Arab countties? Why?
I don't know where you and your family are from.
But just as an example, imagine you are born in Khorasan. All your family, your parents and grand parents have always lived there. All your heritage and family history is there.
Then suddenly the governmet forces you to move to Afghansitan (let's imagine that there's peace there) because they too speak your language and in some way, they are the ancient Persians!!
Same thing for example if you were from part of Azerbaijan, and they tell you to move to Turkey!
You don't know what it is, until it happens to you.
Of course, we all want peace everywhere so we think of a "practical" solution which makes every nation happy.
But unless we put ourselves in their shoes, we can't decide what is good, or better for them.
Regards;
Sorry Souri jan.
As you guessed, I didn't mean to insult anyone's intelligent. My apology if my "brainwashed" comment came across as an insult. What I meant from brainwashed is like mind-game and mind- manipulation. It is a psychological warfare. Mullahs are good in that because of their training in seminary school (Madreseh Fayzeyeh). They're mastering in manipulating people's mind. The best of them is the one who can make people cry for Imam Hossain in 2nd Rozehkhani. The first Rozehkhani, everybody cries. No problem. First Rozahkhani is a piece a cake. But the 2nd Rozehkhani is more difficult to make people cry for Imam Hossaine because the crowd has already cried once. Therefore, there is an award for any mullah who make people cry in the 2nd Rozehkhani. In other word, award for someone who can manipulate people's mind. I heard it from Mullahs themselves. They created mood of anti semantic feeling among Iranians these days.
I was born and raised in Tehran and as you see I am living outside of Iran because I found it difficult to work and live with a bunch of thieves and Islamic thugs. I worked for them for a while but then I realized that it difficult to continue, so I immigrated. I am NOT the only one, over 3 million Iranians left Iran after Mullahs took over. There are still so many Iranians who want to immigrate if they can. Iranian woman prefer to marry the man who is holding citizenship of another country.
Cubans were swimming across the ocean to reach to Florida because of the hell that communism and Castro made for them. I am very surprise to hear from you that Palestinians have difficulty to immigrate to another Arab country. That land doesn't even belong to them. It used to belong to Ottoman empire for many centuries. It belongs to British after WWI. Brits took over the land after Ottoman empire defeated in 1918. 20 years later, Brits decided to move holocaust survirals to that land. Palestinians were living there like a tribe. Desert tribe. Jews are the ones who modernized the land and built the infostructure. Unlike bare feet arabs, Jews were highly educated and westerners. They built the country which is number one in the middle east.
Let's continue with our conversation about immigration. Look at your family. Is French your native language. ? Of course, NOT. But you lived in France for 20 years. How about Canada.? Do you share any history, language or anything with Canadian ? Of course NOT, but you lived there for number of years.
What makes you think Palestinians are different. ?
During shah days, many Iranian immigrated to Kuwait. We had expression in Farsi: "it is like Kuwait" because Iranians could have had higher wages and better life in Kuwait. Please remember all these countries are foreign entitiy because we don't share their language, their culture, or their food, but we choose to live there. What makes you think Palestinians are different ? If worse comes to worst, Palestinians could immigrate to other Arab country for better life.
But my dear, the scenario is NOT the same scenario as you have in mind.
The problem is NOT Israel. The problem is Palestinians themselves. They don't want to see Jews next to them. They fight for HATE, NOT FOR LAND. They're the ones who have zero tolerance for Jews, NOT the other way around. They're the ones who want to push Jews to Mediterrian sea. They don't want even Israel to excist at all. Ask any Palestinians or Mullahs : Do you want Israel excist ? That is basic question. NO they don't want. They have had this idea since holocaust survivals arrived in that land in 1948.
Even there is an idea of alliance of Hitler with Yassur Arafat regarding extermination of Jews.
Gail White is a only Jewish professor who was deported from U.S because of his contraversial character. He wrote a book "Hitler final solution". In his book, White says that Hitler had a meeting with Arafat, the leader of Palestinians liberation organization (P.L.O) White says that Arafat promised Hitler to finish the job after him. I never met White, but his students in university of Pensylvania admired his character and never missed his classes. White had Chrismatic personality, something like Jim Jones personality who was able to attract many people. He had many followers.
I don't want to say whatever White is claiming is correct, but it gives an idea Arabs never tolerated the Jews since day one settlement.
Wow! I just came back to this blog after being away for a few days, and noticed all the comments. For clarification purposes, I'm neither Jewish nor "pro-Zionist." I am an atheist who was raised in a Shia family from central Iran. When it comes to the Palestinian / Israeli conflict, I couldn't care less. They can annihiate each other as far as I'm concerned. If I were to offer an opinion, I would say that Israelis are assholes for keeping the occupied terrtories, and Hamas, and some other Palestinian groups are assholes for targeting civilians. Otherwise, I hope that the both sides nuke each other one day so that this conversation can finally come to an end.
PS- As far as my age, I have repeatedly said how old I was when the revolyion took place. You can figure out the rest. Really don't care though.... I do LOVE the conspiracy theories. BUt hey, with Souri around, who can avoid that stuff? :-)
User I.D Anonymous Observer,
Agree, the conflict between Arab and Israeli have nothing to do with Iran or Iranians. I have said it all the time to different commentators on youtube or Iranian sites. I try to avoid that conversation all the time.
Souri Khanoom strikes me as a decent, honest, kind hearted person who cares about others. So I decided to dig into the root of the problem. BTW, I have never done this before because I know once I start the legitimate conversation with people from third world countries, they accuse me of being Zionist, pro jewish or jewish lobby....etc. That is third world mentality, so I avoid the conversation all the time.
All human being created with some degree of decency and care. Islamic and Socialism ideology have a tendency to manipulate that decency of human being. The result is what we see in countries that runs by Sharia law or Marxist Leninist law. They both brought misery/poverty for the people. It is fancy and attractive in the words, but disaster in the reality.
Dear Savash,
The whole Israel / Palestine thing is a black hole debate. They throw it in everytime there's a discussion about Iran. The whole thing has nothing to do with us. Let the two sides kill each other. The reason why they throw in this red herring is to distract. It's kind of like having a political discussion about the economy with someone and the other person throws an issue in about child sex offenders, or the Sandy Hook shootings. It's a red herring. It's an emotional sitution, and they want to rile you up. There's absolutely no reason for us as Iranians to have to come out everytime with talk about human rights in Iran and declare our position on Israel / Palestine. It's absurd. But that's how they want it. They want to distract.
And I wrote the article that you referred to in order to show these people's hypocricy. Other than that, really don't care about the Chinese Muslims and China. Not our problem. It's the same thing about these people bashing the U.S. everyday about Mossadegh, and America's supposed support for iraq during the war, but at the same time, licking the boots and the rear-end of Russia, which supplied 90% of Saddam's warplanes, and every single missile that Saddam dropped on Iran's cities.
Dear Siavash
thanks for your nice words, I'm really flattered.
Rest assured that the feeling is mutual, otherwise I wouldn't stay here so long to discuss this matter with you.
As i said before, this is not something that we can solve or even clarify here in one blog.
I think all the information (or most of what we shared here) are already available in the media and since a long while. This is not the "lack of info" which is the source of our differences of view, this is about how we analyze them.
For example, you rightfully talked about our "emigration" to the foreign land and compared it to the case of the Palestinians.
i don't agree.
We left the country by our own decision and with the necessary means and materials, whereas they are "pushe' to do so against their willingness.
Anyway, I wish we could end the discussion here and meet more often in some other blogs.
it is a real delight talking to you and discuss different matters.
All the bests;
AO
Sorry if we have stayed too logn in your blog which originally was not meant to debate this subject.
I am so jealous of you that you can stay away for a few days from the site and blogs, despite all this notices which are sent every minute to our email inbox!
You are one priviledged guy (woman?)
I'm so happy for you don't have this problem....
Take care
