The correct translation of Ramin Parham's article is : “absolute monarchy is the undoing of monarchy.”
and not "Monarchy is the pest of the past"
So I stand corrected on the translation.
I hate to be a party pooper but I think at this juncture its quite clear that RP never had any desire to fight the rgime or even reclaim his position as a monarch.
It appears that even if miracle happens and stage is set for him to become a king, he is not interested. So on that note I wish him a prosperous and healthy retirement.
The king is dead. Long live the new king (Whoever may that be)
Notice his new "tan"
How to get tan fast without getting sunburned
RP reminds me of Richard II
"Thus play I in one person many people,
And none contented: sometimes am I king;
Then treasons make me wish myself a beggar,
And so I am: then crushing penury
Persuades me I was better when a king;
Then am I king'd again: and by and by
Think that I am unking'd by Bolingbroke,
And straight am nothing: but whate'er I be,
Nor I nor any man that but man is
With nothing shall be pleased, till he be eased
With being nothing."
- The Life and Death of Richard the Second Act 5, Scene 5
by William Shakespeare
He is a lot like princess Dianna. Dianna wanted a royal title with out any sort of responsibility. she wanted to hang out and live in New York and attended parties with royal title. (Can't attend elite parties in park ave just as average diana)
RP is the same way just wants the title and recognition to hang out with celebs , attend parties and an occassionaly give meaningless speeches or interviews that frankly no one cares or listen to.
Good tan indeed!
