As it has been the case for number of reasons and in one way or the other for the past nearly four decades, Iran is again topping the world’s news these days.

In the past it was the taking of American diplomats as hostages, or string of other state sponsored criminality, warmongering and international terrorism. This time it is the fight to save the faulty Obama legacy nuke deal, which has once again made everyone concentrating on the tree and losing the sight of the jungle.

From Carter administration to Obama’s, to zero in on the tree, the jungle, the menace of the unreformable, expansionist and warmongering Islamist fascist has been overlooked.

From yesterday’s Wall Street Journal opinion piece by former CIA man, Marc Gerecht, who is now a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracy and former Obama Administration official and dogged pro-reform of the Islamist fascists, Ray Takeyh, who is now a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations:

“President Trump should follow Reagan’s example, not Mr. Carter’s. The U.S. should once more establish contact with and financially assist dissident organizations in Iran. There is no substitute for presidential declaration, and Mr. Trump should embrace Reagan’s model of speaking directly to the Iranian people while castigating their illegitimate regime. Washington should again impose crippling sanctions to deny the mullahs their patronage networks, the key to their power. A formula that led to the collapse of the mighty Soviet empire can surely down Mr. Khamenei’s and the Revolutionary Guard’s kleptocracy.”

Isn’t it time and to everyone’s vital interest to finally do the right thing in Iran and side with the Iranian people in their long quest for freedom?

Airtight sanctions, a la against the despicable South Africa apartheid, works. U.S. lawmakers get to it.

When Obama turned his back on the Iranian people who were chanting: Obama, Obama, you are either with us or with them (Islamist fascists):

While for  12 years of negotiating a faulty nuke deal, which according to Obama himself, Islamist fascists can go after nuke bomb in as little as 8 to 13 years, Islamist fascists have been busy making ICBMs with 2000 Kilometer range, intervening militarily in many regional countries and expanding their international terror network.

Missing the forest for the trees, in this case a single tree, here is Mogirini trying to survive the faulty Obama legacy nuke deal, which along with 1.7 billion in untraceable cash, and nearly 150billion in unfrozen assets Islamist fascists got, has zilch to show for the promised improvement in human rights and regional behavior of the expansionist, warmongering Islamist fascists.

No wonder Islamist fascists climbed over each other to have a selfie with Mogirini
